I began photographing weddings in Charleston, SC in 2004 as Captured by Kate Photography and it’s still a thriving company 15 years later. My recipe to longevity is my listening skills, a laid-back attitude in stressful situations, steadfast reliability and keeping life fun with adventurous travel and lots of close friends.
I recently read a statistic stating that 80% of women were disappointed in their engagement proposal. When I reflected, I thought, this is so true! My close friends and several clients over the years had remarked that it was a sweet proposal and they were over the moon to be marrying this guy, but the actual act of the proposal was bland and not thought out.
This is where the idea for Charleston, South Carolina’s only full-service engagement proposal company came from.
